“I knew at an early age I wanted to act. Acting was always easy for me. I don’t believe in predestination, but I do believe that once you get where ever it is you are going, that is where you were going to be. Was I always going to be here? No I was not. I was going to be homeless at one time, a taxi driver, truck driver, or any kind of job that would get me a crust of bread. You never know what’s going to happen.”
Looking at this quote by Morgan Freeman, I smiled…
Knowing what you want can bring you where you want to be, is what he is saying. No matter what side paths you took, whenever you follow what your inner feeling is telling you, it will take you to the place that is there for you…. Whether you believe in predestination or not, when you open yourself to hear your inner voice, miracles will start to happen. Even for those of you that will hold on to the belief that they only believe what they see, I want to say: “Try this!”
First ask yourself the next questions:
– What do I want?
– How do I know what is the right choice to make?
Now, to hear your inner voice, your intuition or whatever you might call it, you just FEEL first and then THINK!
What kind of a feeling do you have when you think about dating that cute guy or gal? Does it feel good? Does it make you feel happy? Or is there some voice within in you, telling you NOT to date him or her? Do you THINK this inner voice away, or do you listen to it? It’s your choice! Knowing that this inner voice holds all the answers, it might be wise to try this out!
The answer is simple, as I told before: “TRY IT!”………………..
To go back to Morgan Freeman, from being homeless, working as a cabdriver etc., he followed an inner drive, called intuition or inner voice, to do what he CHOSE to do. Therefore he listened to what his WANTS were. Remember the wants list we suggested to you? Make a decision that will change your life, go and sit down and MAKE YOURS!
Do you know how many more things you can do with the time that is given you in order to do more things you always wanted to do?
The benefits of knowing what it is in life that YOU want, is a timesaver number one! It will not only GIVE you more time to realize what you want, it will even bless you with all things you will attract.
As I look in our life together, both Brian and I wanted to meet the perfect match. We both made a wants list and got what we wanted! Effortless Love….we feel blessed each day! And believe me, I have been in relationships that have taught me a lot! Especially what I did NOT WANT! Because I focused on that, I exactly got what I was focusing on: the NOT wants things….
Brian and I understand each other by looking at one another. We have the same wants on our wants list and we are a SUPERGREAT fit to each other! Happier than ever and knowing that this will last for a lifetime. How? Following our inner voices in this, which are telling us that we belong to each other. No fairy tale projections here, but a simple knowing by the language of our souls.
Now, a lot of people always thought that I was crazy, telling that I was a writer, since at that particular time I had not published anything yet. Brian is a filmmaker, he breathes films, he thinks in films, he talks in quotes, in other words: Brian is following HIS inner voice in order to create even more happiness for himself and The Others!
But what if Brian decides that he does NOT belief in what he wants and believes is his path in life? Then he most probably will end up with the thought, I dreamed about being able to make movies, but of course that is only a dream. I am a normal working guy with a not very spectacular job, because I realized that there was only one way to earn money and that was to work a regular job. To be sure of a monthly income….
I feel SO blessed that Brian NEVER gave up where he believes in. He IS a filmmaker, a creator, a producer of ideas that are so spectacular that many others refuse to belief that these dreams will come true. I do. Brian does. Because we both know, that we are on the highroad of our lives together. We stimulate, we open ourselves constantly for US and we BELIEVE!!!! How about the beliefs in your life? Do you choose to follow the truth of your soul? Or do you choose to think that little voice away? Do you hear the voice of your internal critic, does that voice sound more familiar to you? That you are not worthy enough, will never be able to succeed in the wants you really have etc.? Then I would like to ask you: “WHY?”
Apparently we are more used to give credits to a negative voice, than a wise voice. Because we decide to hold on to the belief that thoughts will bring us what we want, not our wants itself….It’s up to you what to choose!
